How can we help you?

Guides, troubleshooting, and support for LabelGlow.

Getting Started Guides

Step 1: Enter License code

  1. After purchasing your LabelGlow Cloud Plan, you will receive an email with access instructions to your pre-made website, with LabelGlow already installed and configured.
  2. Login with your credentials. A window will open, prompting you to enter your license code.
  3. Soon as license is verified, the LabelGlow menu will appear on the left, and you will have access to all your plan features.

Step 2: Upload contacts CSV

  1. Create and upload your contacts CSV file from the settings tab.
  2. In pro+ plans you will be able to edit the CSV from the ‘Edit Contacts CSV’ menu tab.

Step 3: Invite users and sync contacts

  1. Use Authorization URL to invite users to grant permission for contact synching. You will need their google account credentials or login to your LabelGlow site and have the user enter their credentials. This is a one time process and credentials are not saved.
  2. Once user is authorized, he will appear under ‘Contact Sync’ tab. Choose contact(s) you’d like to sync and hit the ‘Run Sync for Selected Users’ button.
We recommend syncing every new added user separately, as the initial sync takes a lot of time, as it creates all contacts and labels from scratch.

Step 1: Upload and activate plugin

  1. After purchasing your LabelGlow plan, you’ll receive a download link for the LabelGlow plugin.
  2. Login to your WordPress dashboard, and under Plugins, hit ‘Add Plugin’ and ‘Upload Plugin’. Once upload is finished, activate the plugin and the LabelGlow menu item will be added to your WordPress menu.
  3. Enter your license code to activate all LabelGlow features.

Step 1: Create a Google Cloud Project

  1. Go to the Google Cloud Console, log in, and click “NEW PROJECT”.
  2. Name your project (e.g., “LabelGlow Sync”)
  3. If you’re a part of an organization, select it under Organization and Location.
  4. Click “CREATE”.
  5. Select the project from notifications to enter project settings.

Step 2: Enable the Google People API

  1. In the search bar at the top, type “Google People API” and select it.
  2. Click the blue “ENABLE” button.

Step 3a: Configure the OAuth Consent Screen for @google.com accounts

This step is for @gmail.com users. If you’re using a domain under Google Workspace, skip to step 3b.
  1. Search for “OAuth consent screen” and click “Get Started”.
  2. Choose “External” as the User Type and click “CREATE”.
  3. Fill in the App name, User support email, and Developer contact information.
  4. On the “Scopes” page, click “+ ADD OR REMOVE SCOPES” and add both “…/auth/contacts” and “…/auth/userinfo.email”.
  5. On the “Test Users” page, add the Google email addresses of everyone who will be a Synced User while your app is in testing mode.
*We do recommend using the LabelGlow cloud plan, as all configuration is already set up for you, with no need to configure Google Cloud API for each user.

Step 3b: Configure the OAuth Consent Screen for users with your own domain under Google Workspace

  1. Search for “OAuth consent screen” and click “Get Started”.
  2. Choose “Internal” as the User Type and click “CREATE”.
  3. Fill in the App name, User support email, and Developer contact information and hit “Finish”.

Step 4: Create and Copy Your Credentials

  1. In the left menu, go to “Credentials”, click “+ CREATE CREDENTIALS”, and select “OAuth client ID”.
  2. For “Application type”, choose “Web application” and give it a name.
  3. Under “Authorized redirect URIs”, click “+ ADD URI”.
  4. Add the following URI: https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/admin-post.php?action=labelglow_oauth_callback (replace yourdomain.com with your own domain name).
  5. Click “CREATE”. A popup will appear.
  6. Copy the “Client ID” and “Client Secret” from the popup and paste them into the fields on your LabelGlow Settings page. we do recommend saving id’s in a safe place in case you’ll need them again in the future. (download the JSON file, it contains all your keys).
  7. Save the settings in the plugin. Your setup is now complete!
